Our Talking Therapy Services is changing so that we can provide support for those who are self-isolating, anxious about the impact of the virus on themselves, family and their loved ones, as well as continuing to provide support for people with problems such as stress, anxiety, depression and insomnia. We are also offering support to NHS staff affected by Covid-19.

To meet the challenge of Covid-19 situation we have temporarily changed the way that our services work and the support that we offer. We can offer focused support to people by telephone or video call and can also offer online treatments.

We hope to be able to move back to our normal service as quickly as we can once the Covid-19 situation is over.

Welcome to the CNWL Talking Therapies Service

We are part of the national NHS ‘Improving Access to Psychological Therapy’ service. We provide a range of talking therapies for people who feel anxious and worried or down and depressed. Around one in five people suffers from anxiety or depression every year, and talking therapies provide people with support and treatment to overcome these difficulties. If you think you might be anxious or depressed, then you can refer yourself by giving us a call, sending us an email, or using our online self referral form. Or if you prefer, you can ask your GP, or any health professional, about the service and they can refer you to us. If English is not your first language we will provide interpreters, including British Sign Language interpreters for all your appointments.
